site, and a must for those conducting an on-line job search.

A useful site featuring a searchable database of current
Canadian job postings. Employers can post jobs here. Includes direct links to
the HR sites of major Canadian employers. Offers an extensive selection of
valuable Canadian career resource links. Quick-loading, and easy to navigate.
Canadian
Recruiters and the Directory of Recruiters Information Page
Maintained by the publishers of the printed Directory of Canadian Recruiters,
Directory of Ontario Recruiters, and Directory of Toronto Recruiters
(descriptions and purchasing info is provided for all these). Includes a useful
section of direct links to many of the recruitment firms' Web sites. Also lists
links to general job-related sites.

USA, but has a good listing of "International Employment Resources"
that covers Canada. Also includes the "Entire List of Employment Resources
on the Internet". A clean, well-organized site.
Human Resources for
Employers - Human Resources Development Canada
Contains all kinds of valuable information designed to help Canadian employers
manage the HR side of their businesses. Information is organized regionally by
province. Clean, fast, and nicely laid out. Developed by the Government of
Canada. Produced in both English and French versions.
JobHunt:
On-Line Job Meta-List
Provides a listing of useful Internet-based job search resources and services.
Includes those services that are relevant for a broad range of job types and
geographical locations. The resources are organized into various categories,
but a single-page "master" list of all the links is also included.
Simple, quick, and easy to use.
Quintessential
Careers: A Career and Job-Hunting Resources Guide
An extensive site with many great resources for the job seeker. The focus is on
helping new graduates find employment, but any job hunter could benefit.
Includes helpful tips on preparing cover letters and résumés, job-hunting,
interviewing, etc. Also lists numerous links to employment-related resources on
the Internet. Site has won numerous awards.
The
Riley Guide: Employment Opportunities and Job Resources on the Internet
One of the first -- and still one of the best -- guides to
using the Internet to find a job. Geared primarily toward job seekers, but
includes resources for employers as well. Text-based, with a simple,
well-organized format. Includes links to many valuable Internet resources.
The
Canadian Jobs Catalogue
Features direct links to over 2,500 Canadian-only sites and resources. Numerous
listings arranged into a wide variety of specific categories. Claims to be
"much more than a list of sites", but rather "a unique strategy
for success". Includes on-line jobs and résumé banks. (Note: small fee
required to access full site, some areas are free)
